  • Together, we invested $809,298 dollars in 54 local programs, partnering with 44 agencies in the 15 counties we serve.
  • These programs touched more than 90,000 lives over the past year.
  • United Way’s 2-1-1 helpline answered more than 4,200 calls to direct people in need to the right services to find help. And we provided over $51,000 in assistance to families impacted by disaster.
  • Once again, we partnered with Cadence Bank earlier this year to provide free tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Through this partnership, 11 volunteers donated over 500 hours to prepare 196 tax returns that resulted in over $235,981 in refunds to local taxpayers.
  • Our Family Champions, a new program in partnership with the State of Tennessee, provided service to 183 families, support to 32 childcare centers, housing to 6 families, and disaster relief to 22.
  • In partnership with the Ford Motor Company, and 24 partner agencies, we also launched interim services at the future site of the Ford Community Center.
  • All in, United Way invested over $3.5M in West Tennessee during this past year.

We are grateful to the community for investing in the impactful work of United Way of West Tennessee!
